# Wellspring: Courts:

|
The judicial branch shall embody the judicial power of the `WS` constitution.
|
|
|
|
## Supreme Court:
|
|
|
|
The supreme court shall have the power of judicial review to declare acts by the other branches to be unconstitutional, subject to the framework laid out in the [judicial review](./08-03-judicial-review.md) section of this constitution.
|
|
|
|
The court shall not give advisory opinions to legislators on constitutionality; they shall only decide cases.
|
